Duan reinvents the painterly language of spirituality in abstraction

The expressionistic, brightly spacious abstractions of Chinese-born, Berlin-based painter Yafeng Duan (born 1973) testify to her notion of a breath of energy that spreads out into a great void. This is the first monograph on her work.
